Hi All,

Anand's PR [3385] has come a long way. In its current state it provides an
implementation for Metrics Persistence according to this discussion thread
and all GH comments have been addressed, AFAIK.

If anyone has concerns, please reply to this email or post a fresh GH
review.

All in all, I believe this PR is non-intrusive to other Polaris
functionality and can be merged now, so that the feature could be put to
practice by interested users (including Anand, I'm sure).

The feature is marked as "beta" so follow-up can and will continue on main.

[3385] https://github.com/apache/polaris/pull/3385

Cheers,
Dmitri.
