Some of this has already be changed in trunk branch but could be undone if that is the consensus. Saxon 13 requires Java 17 and we've also made the bump to Java 17 min with POI 6. With the major upgrade in Java requirement, I think it appropriate to bump the XMLBeans release number to 6 for this next non-patch release. Have a look at the https://github.com/apache/poi-xmlbeans/ repo if you want to investigate the current state.
