Hi, As far as I read https://github.com/apache/logging-log4j2/issues/3196#issuecomment-2474843612 it does not matter which version of log4j-api we use, there will be breakages anyway. Using lower log4j-api will cause different issues like MethodNotFound or similar.
So I would suggest to release whatever we have and instruct users to use the exact matching version of log4j-core to avoid issues. And afterwards I'd also vote for moving away from log4j as it does not seem to take our use case into account. Regards... Dominik.
