Hi, If there are no objections, I propose to create a RC1 for XMLBeans 5.0.3 today.
The main change is to upgrade log4j but there are some other dependency upgrades and https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XMLBEANS-579 . With POI, I think it might be useful to put together a new release later this week. There are a few fixes in POI for https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TIKA-3164 that are not released yet.
