On my laptop, which is several years old and increasingly sulky, that all takes single digit minutes. clean + test + checks + site was under 5 minutes. I think something very wrong is going on there!
I'd suggest you benchmark the same thing on your local build machine, then contact builds@ and see if they have any idea why it's taking so so much longer
