Hi, I have created a candidate build for Pig 0.17.0. The most important changes since 0.16.0 are:
(1) Dropped support for Hadoop 1 (2) Included Spark as execution engine Keys used to sign the release are available at http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/pig/trunk/KEYS?view=markup . Please download, test, and try it out: http://home.apache.org/~szita/pig-0.17.0-rc0/ Release notes and the rat report are available from the same location. Should we release this?
