The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Ozone is delighted to announce that Chu Cheng Li (Peter Lee) has joined the PMC!
Peter has been invaluable to the Ozone community development since he started his contribution in 2025. He actively participated in reviews and discussions, as well as come up with new initiatives that brings new positive energy to the community. I believe that his induction to the Ozone PMC would give him more capacity to move Ozone in the right direction. These are the non-exhaustive highlights of his contributions - S3 conditional request - Spearheaded the Ozone S3 compatibility with dedicated tracking dashboard - Actively experimented and suggest new Ozone features - Started the Aggressive DB compaction with Minimal Degradation initiative - Actively attend biweekly meeting discussions The PMC - Project Management Committee - manages and guides the direction of the project, and is responsible for inviting new committers and PMC members to steward the longevity of the project.
