Ozone Snapshot was finished in 1.4.0 HDDS-6517 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDDS-6517>
Ozone Snapshot Phase 2 HDDS-8544 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDDS-8544> mostly spans across 2.0.0 time frame. Post Ozone 2.0 release, we'll be continuing to drive stability, but we'll also start to look at scaling up Ozone Snapshot operations. I expect most of it will be included in 2.1.0. For ease of tracking, I'd like to resolve HDDS-8544, and move all remaining tasks to a Ozone Snapshot Phase 3 umbrella jira. Internally at Cloudera, we defined the requirement of Snapshot scalability, and @Swaminathan Balachandran <sbalachand...@cloudera.com> sketched out a design. We should be posting the requirements and designs in the coming weeks for discussion. Best, Weichiu
