Hi, By default, SCM ratis and scmgrpc ports are assigned to 9865 and 9866 respectively for SCM HA setup. For deployments alongside hdfs, it was observed that it caused port conflict issues with Hdfs datanode ports defined by "dfs.datanode.https.address" and "dfs.datanode.address".
The idea here is to change the default ratis and grpc ports for SCM to 989x range as these are not used by either Hdfs or other ozone components currently. There has been no release post SCM HA branch merge, so i assume it should be fine, but deployments running on current apache master may run into issues.
