Hi,
Earlier I had some experiments with creating a native go-lang client for
Ozone.
Go has good integration with native libraries, for example there are
easy ways to create native fuse drivers.
While my code is not finished yet, the metadata operation
(create/commit/llist key/bucket/volume) worked well, and simple key
upload / download also worked (even with Ratis) but it requires a lot of
work to stabilize it.
Today it's under my Github, which means that collaboration is not under
the ASF ACLA.
Over the months I realized that some others are also interested about
it, and it also can be a good opportunity for for new community
participants to jump in.
Therefore I suggest to copy the content of my repo to a new
apache/ozone-go repository to make it possible to have community
contributions.
(And with clear statement that it's unstable)
What do you think?
Thanks,
Marton
