openwhisk-package-cloudant would need some (unknown) amount of work to be upgraded to use nodejs:10 action kinds. The documentation in general also needs a fair amount of work to be redone in terms of a generic Apache CouchDB package instead of IBM Cloudant.
Unless someone in the community is interested in taking on these tasks, I propose to archive the openwhisk-package-cloudant gitrepo and remove support for this provider package from openwhisk-deploy-kube. Will leave this thread open for at least a week to gather comments, --dave
