I wonder whether the name of this package is well chosen. I know that the program that it starts is ovn-controller, and I know that that runs on every hypervisor in OVN, but still at first I assumed that any package with "controller" in the name would run centrally, that is, my first guess was that it would run ovn-northd or the nb or sb ovsdb-server. So maybe it would confuse others too. If you agree, then maybe we should name it openvswitch-ovn-hypervisor or -host or something of that sort. On another naming note, I wonder whether we should drop the "openvswitch-" prefix from these package names. I'm not sure it's helpful.
