Hi, Is there a way to out of tree build OVS on Ubuntu, just like it can be done on Fedora?
The reason why I am asking is as follows. I am now working on Vagrantfile for Ubuntu. In the past I used to automate the building of OVS by git cloning in Vagrantfile and then compile and I was working just fine. However recently introduced Vagrantfile for Fedora is taking a "git clone before vagrant up" approach and I see some benefits there. So I would like to do the same thing for Ubuntu, too. Building OVS on /vagrant doesn't work in Ubuntu so I would like to build OVS out of tree just like how it is done for Fedora in current Vagrantfile. Any advice is highly appreciated.
