While proofreading, I noticed what might be a problem, though.  The
documentation says:

    It is also necessary to install the Open vSwitch compatibility layer
    for Linux bridging.  Please refer to the INSTALL.bridge guide.

Unfortunately, some recent changes broke the bridge compatibility code
and made it even harder to maintain than it had been, so we removed
it.

What does OpenNebula need the bridge compatibility layer for?  If it
is only for "brctl", then one possibility that I've considered before
is to write a replacement for brctl.  This wouldn't be too hard to
write or maintain.  If OpenNebula needs more a more detailed
compatibility layer, then that is harder.
