Hi The developer's guide doesn't recommend to store large configuration data for extensions in the hierarchical database. Instead, it recommends to store them in separate files.
I would like to know the most suitable place to put these files, given that I don't want to require the user to select a location. I know there is a singleton called PackageInformationProvider, which can provide the location of the extension, but I don't want to use it, since it is unpublished.
