Hi Kai, Good to hear from you. I am most interested in contributing to the core sdk of OO.o. On the application side, I am torn --ideally, I'd like to contribute to all applications in the suite. As I mentioned, my background is mostly C++, but I also program in Java and C#. Having written software on Windows most of my working life, I am also familiar with the Win32 API and COM.
For now I will go with your suggestion of finding a project that interests me most, and perhaps initiating a conversation with the project lead. If you, or anyone in the community, have any more helpful suggestions, I'd welcome them.
