Having planned to create a new icon theme, I would need to access the icons used by default to be able to create new icons for each of the Galaxy theme.

I think it is https://github.com/apache/openoffice/tree/trunk/main/default_images

But the way to go is not to exchange the Galaxy icons, but to create a new theme in https://github.com/apache/openoffice/tree/trunk/main/ooo_custom_images. See the README.txt there.

The Readme might be a bit outdated...

I created a Pull Request for a new icon set:

We would really need a simple icon theme for dark mode...
