dear devs, I have also found that by modifying the style for formula, and pressing the standard selection on bottom right breaks the style. the new formula are all placed at the top left of the page, and it is impossible to revert to the previous setting (you cannot set to vertical center - character again). not sure what other standard choices cause this same issue.
to test on your system. write formula, press f11, modify the formula style, press standard, press okay. will be broken. attempt to reset, press f11, modify formula style, reset. does nothing.
