Thanks for the compliments Czeslaw. As to the placement of the comma
inside the double quotation marks: That is standard practice in
publishing in the Unites States according to The Chicago Manual of
Style, the style manual that we use,Part 2 section 6, subsection 6.9:
Periods and commas in relation to closing quotation marks states in
part: "Periods and commas precede closing quotation marks, whether
double or single... This is a traditional style, in use in the United
States well before the first edition of this manual (1906)." 1:
This is only one of many differences between usage in U.S. and British
English. I thank you for pointing it out.
