That is one of the goals of AOO 4.2.0: Bringing back translations and the ability to introduce changes in the UI/Help. I started on this project years ago working on translation, just to see, that it didn't find its way into a release. I know that this can be frustrating... Updated translations should be part of every 4.2.x release in the future.
