Hi I have been using Openoffice 4.1.1 for a few years now and today after saving a document created, the screen went blank which I thought was power loss so I plugged in and went to recent documents but it says no documents found so everything has disappeared. I'm not terribly clever with some computer requirements so have tried updating but that hasn't worked either. I have got into something that suggests I uninstall and then re install a later version but am a little scared as does this mean I will not find existing documents on there either?
