I just installed AOO 4.1.8 on Ubuntu 18.04 (in VirtualBox).

AOO detects both OpenJDK 8 and OpenJDK 11 without problems.
I didn't test Java 15.

I doubt that anyone has tested AOO before on WSL2... ;-)
I am still on WSL and can not start GUI programs.
