I don't know what happened here. ;-)
Several extensions were updated recently without problem...

However, when I insert a picture as comment, I get a runtime error
pointing to:

sFic = convertToURL(oFic.SelectedFiles(0))

This is on Ubuntu 16.04.

It works on Windows if you use Windows dialogs, if you switch to
OpenOffice dialogs it throws the same runtime error.
