Should of put this in one email SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=kde ./soffice actually makes it a bit more pronounced. SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk ./soffice runs as if the SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN was not set on the command line.
