Would you mind trying to download from the following sourceforge mirror?

Works for me.

$ curl -s https://netix.dl.sourceforge.net/project/openofficeorg.mirror/4.1.5/binaries/en-US/Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.5_Linux_x86-64_install-rpm_en-US.tar.gz | md5sum

$ curl https://archive.apache.org/dist/openoffice/4.1.5/binaries/en-US/Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.5_Linux_x86-64_install-rpm_en-US.tar.gz.md5

So what I get from that mirror passes the MD5 checksum verification. I don't save the file to disk just because I don't need it; this of course makes no difference. The download speed was quite slow though (about 10 minutes; usually it's much faster) so you might have hit some timeouts.

Regards,
  Andrea.
