Hi - There have been a couple of reports of slowness on OpenOffice.org over the holidays.
I’ve looked at this for other subdomains than openoffice.org <http://openoffice.org/>. Take a look at the way Infra configures DNS servers and how clients are selecting which server to access. At least in my case my Mac or Airport Express is choosing a random one of two vs. the “closest”. This needs a little more investigation before bringing it to Infra. If you have experienced issues then let me know when, what you are getting when you measure latency, what operating system, and, if you are on your home or corporate network, I am used traceroute, nslookup and dig (not shown).
