So far, we have the good fortune of a fix having its effect only in a single 
shared library, with no problems of substitution into the already-shipped 
stable binary.

Other problems may not be so easy.

And with these fixes like 4.1.2-patch1, the level of end-user expertise 
required is a problem.

Perhaps we will learn to do this kind of fix quickly and with less 
experimentation in the future.  We are learning a great deal here.
