Lakshay, You are too late for the 2016 Google Summer of Code. Preparations began in February. The accepted projects are already underway. See <https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/>.
Also, Apache OpenOffice has not offered mentors or solicited proposals for the current GSoC. If you want to contribute to Apache OpenOffice as a form of self-study, you are welcome to do that. Let us know. This is the correct list for obtaining suggestions on getting started. - Dennis > -----Original Message----- > From: lakshay taneja [mailto:lakshaytanej...@gmail.com] > Sent: Monday, July 11, 2016 16:09 > To: dev@openoffice.apache.org > Subject: New to open source software > > Hi, I am a 3rd year mathematics and computer engineering student with > 1.5 > years experience of c++ ,basics of python and an intermediate android > developer > i was thinking to participate in google summer of code and also increase > my > skills by contributing ,please guide me from where to start > > Thanks, > lakshay taneja --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@openoffice.apache.org
