The analysis on accumulation of issues has been updated to reflect the status for the first Quarter (January - March) of 2016 (literally, as of 2016-04-08).
The detailed tabulation is in the PDF at <http://s.apache.org/YFT>. The arrival of new issues has been declining, year over year. Although the rate of arrivals has declined, the rate of issues remaining open is consistently in excess of 40% of those reported since OpenOffice became a full project of the Apache Software Foundation in the last quarter of 2012. The increased rate for 2016 YTD may simply be a consequence of the short time those newest issues have been open, relatively speaking. Issues are not open if they are marked as CLOSED or RESOLVED in some manner. Typically, open issues are marked UNCONFIRMED or CONFIRMED depending on the level of analysis that has occurred. An issue can be RESOLVED as FIXED, meaning that the repair is in hand, even though a release containing the repair has not been produced yet. Such an issue may progress to VERIFIED when it is confirmed that the issue is resolved in a new release, and it will be CLOSED subsequently. - Dennis > -----Original Message----- > From: Dennis E.
