OK, but ./configure --help will merely list the possible switches. You then need to run ./configure with some options. Which ones did you use?
Our 4.1.2 release candidate uses (it's longer, and this is actually not verbatim since we cache stuff, but you can start with these; it's one line): ./configure --enable-category-b --enable-wiki-publisher --enable-bundled-dictionaries --without-stlport --with-dmake-url=http://dmake.apache-extras.org.codespot.com/files/dmake-4.12.tar.bz2 --with-epm-url=http://www.msweet.org/files/project2/epm-3.7-source.tar.gz
However, I can’t find the script to set the environment variables for Mac (MacOSXX64Env.Set.sh)
You will find it in main/ upon successful configure. So you should give more details about what happens when you run configure with more options.
