I'll rephrase my request.

When Sun ran the OpenOffice.org project, there was an
¿official?/¿semi-official?/¿un-official? manual for developers, that
defined/described coding practices for the User Interface, Help Files,
and various other, for want of a better phrase, "public facing APIs".

What I am trying to find out, is:
* If Apache OpenOffice adheres to the practices and conventions in that
manual?
* If that manual has been replaced, what is the replacement called?
* Where can that replacement can be obtained from?

I am not asking about the style manual used by the documentation project.
I am not asking about the intro guide for developers.
