Personal expectations don't matter. We are electing a Chair as defined by the ASF.
And finally, who has their hat in the ring? That is, who are nominating themselves or are at least willing to be nominated? ... [potential] candidates need to work on that with the community so we can get the job done this time.
I'll try to make sure we get the job done. So I take responsibility to move forward as soon as I see that we have agreement on the schedule.
