I meant that the live link might go to a different place than is shown in the message box. For example, as a form of malware or a way of tracking users. In my browser I can always tell where a static link goes (unless JavaScript is being used to hide it, and then I am very careful). I don't know if this is a significant risk, but it does increase the threat surface unnecessarily.
