Hello,
I am using OpenOffice with NVDA, the free Open Source, wildly popular
screen reader.
I see there is a page where there is a description of everything that
has been done already, but as someone who is just starting to use
OpenOffice, the accessibility is less than intuitive.
1. I can't figure out how to navigate between slides when making a
powerpoint. This could be that there is no announcement when I change
slides, but I'm not sure.
2. For some reason, in big documents, I can't seem to access anything
but the headings of a document.
3. When arrowing through the function list in the spreadsheet, There is
no announcement when the options change. In order for me to hear the
option I need to arrow down, tab, shift tab, and hit read line..
If there is anything I can do to help fix these bugs I would love to
know as currently it is unusable for anything but basic use.
