The reason for asking is that one Forum Volunteer (John_Ha) has a suspicion that many of the occasional problems with OpenOffice which are cured by deleting or renaming the User Profile, thereby causing OO to generate a new default profile, could be cured equally well (and without loss of customisation) by simply reinstalling registrymodifications.xcu.
