The forum-admin@oo.a.o mailing list has just been created.
What's next?
Today we access the Gmail account, reply to the messages, store them in
a folder in the mailbox and duplicate the initial message in a private
section of the forum. We then add a comment to log what the action was.

It will require a while to reconfigure this as the forum mail address, so it is
not immediately active; but indeed we'll switch to it.

OK, no emergency, let me know when it's ready so that we make some tests before
the switch.

I guess that the mods should subscribe this ML. Can the content of the
ML be duplicated automatically in the private section of the forum?

We (at least me, initially; then someone else will take over; like you?) will
be able to subscribe people to the list, meaning that messages sent to
forum-admin will be forwarded to all of us with no moderation. Replying to a
message and CCing the list will be OK to archive the answer.

No problem for me as long as it does not require high skills for such a task (I
don't know anything about SSH and such protocols). If this is only mail
business with an automated interface (like for subscribing), it's fine.

We won't have automatic replication but this is something that can be
investigated (not easy, not soon unfortunately).

Manual duplication is no problem (automation is just "nice to have" but no big
deal).

NB: is this ML private? It must be since the message contain personal
information.

It is. It is like the security list: everyone can post, without moderation; but
all messages are kept private.

Great, this point is closed then.

Hagar
