Drag and Drop was significantly reworked by Armin in version 4.1, see release notes. This may explain why it works for you with 4.1 and it doesn't work for others with 3.4.1 and 4.0.1. In any case, due to the major changes in 4.1, please ask reporters to try with 4.1 too.
