We expose only the relevant checksum when a user is downloading a file.
It's the "MD5" (or SHA256, or whatever) link shown under the green box
in http://www.openoffice.org/download/

If you want to see the checksum for a given file instead, you must browse
http://www.apache.org/dist/openoffice/4.1.0/binaries/
for example: the MD5 checksum file for the Windows version in French is

http://www.apache.org/dist/openoffice/4.1.0/binaries/fr/Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.0_Win_x86_langpack_fr.exe.md5

or browse to [1] to have every available file in one place.
