Hello John and Jan, Thank you for the reference to the DevelopersGuide, it is quite useful for me. This seems to a PDF version of the Developer's Guide present at https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/DevGuide/OpenOffice.org_Developers_Guide .
The purpose of developer's guide seems to be describe how to write extensions using UNO, and it does cover the Framework and UNO in detail. But the developer's guide does not cover all of the internal architecture and components of AOO, given that its focus is on the AOO API. Would you have access to an updated version of www.openoffice.org/white_papers/tech_overview/tech_overview.html ? Thanks a lot for the help.
