As a result of a thread on the forum,

some testing.
Files exported as .docx from Pages 5 always crash AOO 4.01, AOO 3.4.1, and LO
4.1.3.
Files exported as .doc from Pages 5 open properly. The few .docx files I have received that
were created in Word open properly.
