I think it is a good thing that other projects find our work useful and take the code to help their users as well. Hoarding is against the open source ethic. But this works both ways. So it is very sad that we never receive patches upstream. We all realize that the license permits this one-way taking of code. But we also all realize that kind of behavior is frowned upon in the larger open source community. Let me think of what I can say in the blog post without being combative.
