Hello Tomasz, OpenOffice has an SDK which includes an API for developing extensions to OpenOffice. You can download the SDK here: http://www.openoffice.org/download/other.html#source The OpenOffice SDK is open source, under the Apache License 2.0, the same license that the OpenOffice application users. Also, we have a dedicated mailing list for OpenOffice extension authors.
