I looked in http://www.apache.org/dist/openoffice/4.0.0/binaries/en-US/but
didn't see any actual binaries...just hash keys and rather small .asc
files. Am I looking in the wrong place?

These seem to be there now...at least from my location, N. Cal.
Yes, but still only the hash files. Look at the sizes in the most right
column. No KB or MB units, so just some bytes.
The binary files are in the externaldist directory.
