Hi John good to hear from people wanting to jump into the OpenOffice
community offering help. I would suggest the first step is to get to build
AOO, to get a sense of how the code works and also make sure to ask a lot
in order to understand the ways of the code itself.

There is a good knowledge base on the WIKI about the Coding standards,
Architecture of the software and other similar things. Please enjoy.
