this has to be done unfortunately and I see a problem to have a good integrated help in place for 4.0. The help system is one area where we should try to find a better solution. I can think of an optional package and some kind of internal mapping between help id's and the place where to find the help files. then we can have an online version of the help which give us further advantages and we can have an downloadable and optional help (package, extension) for offline usage on demand. something for the future I guess, one of many things that we can improve or where somebody can start working on....
