It seems, that the curved connector shape is not a Polyline with path but a PolyPolygonBezier. It has a property "PolyPolygonBezier" (service PolyPolygonBezierDescriptor). This property is a struct PolyPolygonBezierCoords with the parts "Coordinates", with the coordinates of the points, and "Flags" with the type of the points.
You might get an idea, how to use that from the example in the SDK DevelopersGuide/Drawing/DrawingDemo.java Perhaps you ask not here but on a...@openoffice.apache.org.
