exactly some code is already there and I believe it is the foundation for any further work in LO, but I am not 100% sure. It would be worth to start a project working on this code. After 4.0 we can think of a motto for the next release or so. Andre had such an idea last week during a coffee break and mentioned we could call out a year of OOXML support. Means that we all concentrate on improved OOXML import and a working export. This could be really a challenging thing where hopefully many would work together. Collecting test documents, typical use case scenarios of real life documents, defining and implementing tests, implementing of course the necessary core changes in the filter and more ...
