"Yes. Although Microsoft Windows 8 was only in preview when we released Apache OpenOffice 3.4.1, subsequent testing and user feedback has been positive, and no incompatibilities have emerged so far. Note: OpenOffice runs as a desktop application on the x86 or x64 platforms. We don't support Windows RT or the Metro UI."
