This should be automatic. If I recall correctly, the update mechanism
just returns an XML file (do we have it somewhere in SVN?) with a list
of languages, platforms, latest version for that language+platform, and
URL to download it.
So, provided that the XML file is not modified, it will still return
that the latest version available for Hungarian on, say, Windows, is
3.4.1, which means that existing 3.4.1 installations will believe they
are up-to-date (they actually are!) and won't notify the user that newer
versions are available.
