The modules are written very clearly, although they're quite the read in volume. I don't mind whatsoever, but I think it's a good test to get a feel of how committed a volunteer is. If one applied for volunteership in the spur of the moment, being asked to read all these orientation modules can be a quality threshold of its own. (I can see why you would intentionally want to make it so)
If at any point the threshold appears to be too high for newcomers, I think creating videos of their content could be a nice in-between-solution. For now I think they're great.
